TREMITI,
WHY VISIT THEM?

The Tremiti Islands offer you the chance to live a unique experience discovering  a parallel world rich in vegetation and history. The different colors of the water, the play of light, the search for the mythical seahorse or the submerged museum will give you breathtaking emotions.
Emerald waters, dazzling white stacks, green Mediterranean scrub, coves, crystalline seabeds, iridescent caves, impregnable fortresses, a truly native flora and fauna.

THE ISLANDS

Three major islands: San Domino, San Nicola and Caprara, from a small island located between the three islands, the Cretaccio. Finally Pianosa, about 11 miles north-east from the first three and over 30 miles from the Gargano coast.
The Tremiti Islands are the only Italian islands in the Adriatic, so much so that they are also known as the "Pearls of the Adriatic".
In less than 3 km2 of surface area and 20 km of coastal perimeter, the archipelago is an example of rare beauty, both for the uncontaminated nature of its seabed and for the landscape and historical-architectural aspects of its islands.
